The neck measurement is taken around the neck with the tape resting on your shoulders. You should put one finger between the tape and the neck if you want to allow for some extra room.
To measure your shoulder width, identify the bones at the top edge of each shoulder. Measure from bone to bone, over the natural curve of your back.
The sleeve length measurement is taken from the top edge of your shoulder with your arm bent slightly, to where you want the sleeve to end (most likely on the wrist).
Relax your arms by your side, measure the length in two steps. Start from the bone at the top edge of your shoulder and measure to your elbow. Hold the tape measure there and continue measuring to your wrist.
The bicep measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around the biceps. Relax your arms at your side and wrap the tape measure around your biceps, in line with the nipples.
The wrist measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your wrist. NOTE ! We will add movement ease according to the cuff you select.
The chest measurement is taken as a circumference around your chest at the widest point. Stand in a relaxed posture and breathe out. Measure around your chest, beneath the armpit.
This measurement is taken as a circumference around your stomach. Wrap the measuring tape around your stomach, in line with your belly-button. Ensure the tape measure is level all the way around.
The waist measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your waist just above your belly button. Locate your waist by placing four (4) fingers beneath your belly button. Wrap the measuring tape around your waist just beneath the fourth finger.
Jacket length (back) is taken from the top bone of your spine down to the point where you want your jacket to end (in general, this measurement lies between 70-80cm depending on height and personal taste).
The hip measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your hips at the widest part.
The leg length is being measured from the waistline (from the point where you take your waist measurement), down to the floor (just past your ankle).
The crotch measurement is taken from the front point of your waistline, through your legs, and back to the back point of your waistline.
The thigh measurement is a measure of the circumference of your thigh (usually the thickest point). The measurement is taken below the crotch, with the measuring tape wrapped all the way around.
